BLACK AND DAVIS FLY TO WINS AT AIRPORT LANES

The 27th Annual Michigan Junior Master Association Jackson Classic rolled into Airport Lanes in Jackson, Michigan on September 13‐14, 2014. Sue Hines, Andy Schnebelt and the whole team at Airport Lanes play great hosts every year and this year was no exception. The challenging 46 foot pattern kept a number of our members off balance but as always, a number of them found the right target zone and made enough spares in between to make the match play part of the event.

Howard & Gainor Are First Time Winners In Plymouth

Antar Howard (Kalamazoo, MI) and Samantha Gainor (Chesterfield, MI) captured their very first Michigan Junior Masters Association title at Plaza Lanes in Plymouth, Michigan during our second event of the season the weekend of August 23rd and 24th. Jerry Johnson and the whole staff at Plaza Lanes once again proved to very gracious hosts and the 39 foot flat oil pattern which had many of the bowlers guessing throughout the weekend how to play the lanes.

BRANDT AND RICHARD KICK OF THE 29TH SEASON WITH WINS

Jordan RichardJordan RichardSam BrandtSam BrandtIn the kick-off event for the 29th Michigan Junior Masters Association season, we reached another milestone in the great history of the organization by having a “perfect” ending to the tournament. We are able to finally crown our 300th winner in 29 years which was Sam Brandt (Fremont, MI) who defeated Vincent Papais (Sterling Heights, MI) 441-414 and then we had Jordan Richard (Tecumseh, MI) win her 12th title of her career by defeating Sydney Brummett (Fort Wayne, IN) 428–377.

BLACK AND RICHARD CAPTURE OTTMAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Michigan Junior Masters Association completed its 28th season in Monroe, Michigan with the Daniel C. Ottman Memorial Championships at the Monroe Sport Center. The Held family once again were excellent hosts as 65 qualifiers headed into Friday nights qualifying round all with the same dream of hoisting that Championship Eagle trophy on Sunday Afternoon.
