After the first 6 games of qualifying for this yers Alro Steel - Michigna Junior Masters Associations Ottman Memorial Champions Tournament, the "crown jewel" pattern has begun to take its toll. Seventy-eight bowlers made the field and only four made the successfull challenge to average 200 or better.

The guys were led by Ryan Fuller (Rochester Hills, MI) who shot a fine 1272. He was followed by Abed Daher (Brownstown, MI) with 1254, Tim Pfeifer (Cranberry Twp, PA) with 1236 and in fourth was Adam Jablonski (Sterling Heights, MI) at 1205. On the ladies side it is Jennifer Guertin (Milford, MI) shooting 1199 to earn the top spot after 6 games with Nicole Burke (Sturgis, MI), Kara Richard (Tecumseh, MI) and Felicia Goll (St Clair Shores, MI) rounding out the top four.

We expect the conditions to continue to challenge our bowlers for the next two qualifying rounds starting at 9AM on Saturday, June 14th and the third round beginning at 1:30PM the same day. After the 18 games of qualifying we will cut the field to the top 16 boys and 6 girls to advance to match play beginning at 7pm Saturday and the final round starting on Sunday, June 15th at 9AM. We welcome any and all to come visit and see some of the best in youth scratch competition as the Alro Steel - Michigan Junior MAsters Association crowns this years champions on Sunday afternoon.
