Over the weekend of November 15th, 2008, Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing played host to a Michigan Junior Masters Association event that officially changed the culture of this tournament organization as we know it. The lane conditions that weekend were especially brutal, even by MJMA’s tough standards. The amalgamation of emotions on all sides, from parents and guests to board members and bowlers, lead us all to this point.

And so we present MJMA’s brand new Coach’s Corner feature - a quick and dirty interpretation of the last event’s lane conditions, how they should have been attacked, and with what kinds of equipment (all of this through the eyes of one humble adult board member).
